I believe in mutuality. I believe that all persons deserve it in relationships, even when things feel too complicated. So I naturally prioritize a collaborative, exploratory, and enlightening relationship for healing - both in psychotherapy and in evaluation. When I work with any age or circumstance, I try to understand words, thoughts, behaviors, and meanings. These all can lend themselves to strengths or difficulties, so we work with these to bring about desired change.
I am a psychologist in practice at The Center for Integrative Counseling and Psychology. We care for the whole person: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, honoring all faiths and its role in people’s lives. I am also President-Elect to the APA's Dallas Division 39 Chapter, the Dallas Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology (DSPP).
I have developed psychotherapy specializations working with both adults and youngsters, and I often help folks make sense of complex webs of concerns with a more practical approach to psychological evaluations (including, but certainly not limited to, educational and developmental assessments). I also lead The Center's OLOGY programming.
