I am the founder of Artvango, a nonprofit org offering expressive forms of therapy to children who have experienced challenging times. We have trauma trained therapist that use various forms of expressive therapy to help children self-express and begin the healing journey. Parents are also included in the therapy process and educated on the effects of trauma. Our goal is to help the whole family not just the child.
Children do not do well with traditional talk therapy and that is why Artvango was created. Art allows for expression & healing to occur when words fail to express a child's challenging experience, the art visually contains it. We provide various forms of expressive therapeutic activities to allow children to safely self-express their thoughts and feelings.
Our trauma trained therapists have clinical experience in a variety of settings including; foster care, low income medical clinic, schools, mental health treatment center, & in non-profit settings. We primarily serve children, adolescents, & families conducting counseling sessions in both English & in Spanish.

We have play and art therapist trained to work with children and adolescents who have experienced hardship in their lives. We believe every child has a story and they deserve to be heard through their form of communication which is through art and play. Currently we only accept Medicaid, Community First and Tricare.
