At Ubuntu Counseling & Wellness we believe that we are all hard wired for connection and have an innate desire to simply matter. Often times, the pain and fear we experience in relation to depression, anxiety, grief/loss, vulnerability, life transitions and more are indicative of feelings of disconnection. It is my desire to meet clients in that space of disconnection and offer a therapeutic relationship characteristic of empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness.
As highly trained professionals, we strive to provide clients with a counseling experience that is rooted in connection and authenticity. It is equally important for us to practice cultural humility with each client as we believe that differences are to be acknowledged, honored and celebrated. We use an integrative therapeutic approach.
