I specialize in working with clients who are having symptoms with anxiety, depression, sexuality, religious trauma, interpersonal relationships, ADHD, and trauma. My role and passion as a therapist, is to work alongside my client(s) to help them accomplish their goals in alleviating their current areas of concern and growth. I enjoy all of my clients and am competent to treat any mental or emotional disorder. I work primarily with adults. I do DBT groups for both professional women and women on disability. I am passionate about EMDR therapy and I train in TN, AL, GA, TX, KY and Washington D. C. also use Rapid Resolution Therapy with Clinical Hypnosis for a variety of issues including but not limited to traumatic events, addictions, stopping smoking and decreasing chronic pain. I do relationship counseling, parent education life coaching, Critical Incident Stress Debriefing, grief and loss counseling, anger management, personality testing and EMDR.

Therapy is an experience that I have seen from both sides, as a client and clinician. This is why my approach comes from an empathic, relative point of view. My belief is that a client knows more about what they need better than anyone else. However, we all need guidance and assistance at times to help unlock our potential. I have learned that each client has their own set of core beliefs, maladaptive coping skills, and a significant barrier to obtaining the life we deserve. As a result, we can work to change these unhealthy behaviors one may use to numb and escape feelings that are destructive and harmful together.

I have been helping others: Special needs, Relational, Behavioral, A&D, Elderly, and Children as a C.N.A., Foster mother, Care giver, Activity Director, and as a Therapist during my adult life. I have 10 grandchildren, and 4 are special needs children.
