I'm a firm believer that we were never intended to do life alone, and that everyone has a story worth telling. But, so often shame, guilt or embarrassment, silences us, and our stories go untold. Oftentimes, robbing us of living life fully. It is my desire to foster an environment where clients feel safe and accepted as they pursue healing and growth. I'm humbled and honored to walk alongside of my clients during some of their most difficult times. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, relational, and empowering. I focus my practice on serving young children, adults of all ages, and families.
I have specialized training and experience in a highly researched therapy called: Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. PCIT is one of the most effective therapy programs known to enhance the parent-child relationship while also significantly decreasing behavioral problems. Additionally, I have specialized training in trauma treatment for emotional, physical, and sexual abuse.
Having grown up as a first generation born American, I use my experience as a minority and being bilingual, to serve the Latino community through culturally sensitive therapy options.
