In my practice, I strive to meet my clients where they are, establish a strong relationship built on trust, empathy, sincerity, and a strong desire to grow. I embark upon each journey with a new client ready for the twists and turns of the counseling relationship, but ultimately hope to provide a healing presence for each client. I aim to cater to their goals, as I make it a part of my practice for the client to develop their own goals. Together, we tackle whatever issues arise, and find a common ground and begin the journey to healing.
I can offer help to clients in various populations from my unique experiences with working with youth, young adults, middle aged and older adults. I can offer numerous coping skills for various issues, and help each individual gain new perspectives regarding their unique situations. I can offer empathy, trust, mutual respect, and so much more!
I make every effort to use active listening, express empathy, and utilize a variety of theoretical orientations that I feel may be of best help for each client. I desire for each client to feel welcomed and given a safe space to truly be themselves.
