As a licensed clinical psychologist, I strive to create a space that is warm, safe, and collaborative. I work with individuals who want to improve their quality of life by exploring areas that may be causing them stress (e.g., grief, identity, depression, anxiety, life transitions etc.). We would also talk about how these stressors may be related to their current or past relationships, whether it be family, friends, children, partners and/or peers. I consider my approach to be direct and open, as well as compassionate and flexible.
I specialize in working with individuals as they learn to navigate the complexities of these relationships and other life choices. I think one can improve these relationships by being curious about how one relates to themselves and others. I also have experience in working with individuals in academic and medical professions.
I welcome clients who are considering therapy for the first time or who have worries about engaging in such services, as well as members of various marginalized populations. My hope is that our work together will help bring insight into current concerns and build long-lasting and positive changes.
