The decision to begin therapy for yourself or your child can be difficult and often follows attempts to manage challenging life circumstances independently. I am a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience in Child, Adolescent, Adult, and Family Psychotherapy, Parent Consultation, Couples Therapy, and Special Education and 504 Plan Consultation.
My work assists people struggling with parent-child issues, parental stress, school difficulties, vocational challenges, relationship & interpersonal issues, ADHD, anxiety, OCD, depression, overall stress management, disruptive disorders, developmental disorders, and challenges adjusting to life transitions, including the stress brought on by Covid-19.
When I work with a child or adolescent, parent involvement is essential. I often work with children in individual psychotherapy, but treatment plans always include either family therapy, parent consultation, co-parenting support, and/or child-centered couples therapy.
