I am a clear and goal oriented therapist that focuses on emotions, cognitions and behavior. I have over 25 years experience with helping clients break free from old patterns and find healing, solace and peace by breaking the bonds of the past. I specialize in trauma, OCD and family counseling. I utilize cognitive processing therapy, a 12 session evidence based approach geared toward healing in the wake of a trauma. I also run ongoing trauma recovery groups, with a focus on helping the client reclaim themselves. I am currently authoring a book on thought-dropping, an approach to break the ruminative patterns that fuel OCD.
After all this time working as a therapist, I still love what I do. Being part of helping others to grow has been rewarding and transformative for both myself and my clients.
