Welcome! I am licensed in both NY, NC, and SC w/ 12 yrs of professional work experience. I have worked in a variety of settings such as school settings, substance abuse facilities, outpatient facilities, inpatient/hospital behavioral health units, crisis call centers, & private practice settings. I have experience in helping clients with depression, stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, trauma and abuse, motivation, self esteem, as well as a variety of other life stressors. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear or judgement.
My specialty areas include working with people with a mental health diagnoses, as well as counseling those who need help with life transitions, daily stressors, and/or relationship difficulties. During our first couple of sessions, I like to build a strong foundation with my clients and really get a sense of who they are and what they hope to accomplish.
What makes my practice unique is that I currently have the ability to provide online therapy via phone call or video conference. Therapy from the comforts of your own home! Therapy is also collaborative. We can work together on setting and achieving goals, processing difficult emotions together, and coming up with coping skills to utilize.
