I am a licensed clinical social worker who has had the privilege to work closely with adults, adolescents, and children for over 10 years. I have extensive experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, self harming behaviors, acting out behaviors, personality disorders, anger management, trauma, grief/loss, stress management, low self-esteem, and relationship conflict. In working with children and adolescents I work collaboratively with parents to provide support, education, and/or family therapy.
I am specially trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to treat individuals engaging in self harm behaviors (cutting, substance abuse, emotional eating) and/or have severe relationship conflict. I primarily utilize Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to treat many issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and grief/loss.
My primary goal is to develop a trusting and safe relationship with my clients, which is a fundamental stepping stone in helping individuals make positive change in their lives. I will work hard to create a partnership that is comfortable and productive.
