Born in Bronx New York, I graduated Columbia University in 1989 with an MS in Social Work and became a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist helping individuals and couples thrive. I also use DBT and ACT to create a Psychodynamic Counseling approach. If you struggle with communication in personal and work relationships I provide you with techniques to help change negative behaviors like blame and reactivity into sensitivity and compassion toward the self and others. Mood shifts and alcohol and other drug use is also addressed as it influences the stability of your mood. I will provide a free consultation at your convenience.

OCD and other anxiety disorders are addressed as you attempt to eliminate unwanted thoughts, feelings and urges. My focus is to teach the skill of non-judgmental awareness or Mindfulness. Rather than changing sensations you feel you can acknowledge and accept present moment experience as part of human life by being mindful and accessing an inner calm.
