My name is Dr. Samantha Franke. I am a behavioral therapist and clinical social worker (LCSW). I have worked 10 years in private practice with 32 years of experience in serving adolescent and young adults, along with their families. I currently hold a doctorate degree in clinical social work. I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and EMDR. I often incorporate TF-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and into my work with clients. I also work from a strengths based perspective. I hope to provide individuals, couples and families in the tri-town community with a local, accessible resource of support
My areas of specialty include adolescents and young adult populations. When possible, I like to do work conjunction with the adolescent and the family. I work with identity challenges, relationship difficulty, anxiety, depression, self-harm, low self-esteem, grief / loss, body image issues, and trauma.
I am excited about the e-counseling or teleservices feature to my practice. I believe that connection empowers confidence to change. I utilize technology such as live video conferencing and texted based communication which allows me to provide you with the support and guidance you need, regardless of our distance.

Groups
Support Groups (various topics)
Beginning Wednesday, January 23rd at 6 pm. I will be offering a four week adult support group dedicated to relationships that includes those who are married, single and those who are dating. The group will be open house style. The group will be free/ donation based. I hope to bring people together to increase support and remove the sense of isolation. Going forward I will be offering week 4 rotations for different support group topics based on expressed interest. Inbox me with ideas and with interest. Space is limited in my office so also inbox me about attendance on the 23rd.
