I see life as a journey and counseling as an opportunity for an individual or couple to reach a greater level of health and joy. It is my hope to share in that journey. The focus in my practice is to provide quality, professional care for adolescents, adults, and couples through confidential counseling and consultation. I am a licensed professional counselor with over 20 years experience.
As an attachment therapist I walk with clients to understand those triggering feelings and events/traumas. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples as well as John Gottman's Marital Enrichment Training. In Parenting & adoption I am trained in Karen Purvis's Trust Based Relational Institute (TBRI). I also offer EMDR when appropriate.
I have expertise working with individuals struggling with anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, grief, life transitions, marital / relationship issues,parenting/adoption issues and divorce.I work to strengthen a client's ability to process, grieve, and heal from life's traumas and build hope and resilience.
