Do you find yourself struggling and wondering what might help? Do you feel depressed, anxious or just want to feel better? Are you trying to cope with traumatic experiences? Whatever your path in life might be, I am ready to meet you where you are at. We will work together to find a way and balance in your life. We will explore how your past experiences might affect your current life. We will work through stressors and explore any areas in life where you might feel stuck. We will identify any past coping mechanisms that might not be helpful in the present time and explore new ways of coping.
My approach is integrative, grounded in psychodynamic framework, and drawing on dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques and concepts. My experience across the spectrum of severity of mental illness informs my treatment approach. I am dedicated to creating a safe environment individually tailored to your needs.
Therapeutic relationship is crucial. Starting therapy can feel scary, but I will gently guide you in your journey to self-exploration while also following your lead. Together, we will dive beyond the surface to help you reach your goals.
