If you're feeling stuck or are having difficulty focusing, I can help you. I've worked successfully with older adolescents, adults, and couples struggling with (among other things) anxiety, depression, issues around sexuality, and relationship difficulties. Therapy is an opportunity to share your innermost thoughts and feelings in a safe space. I offer a warm and supportive environment where you can express and explore ideas openly and honestly. I am active in therapy and will challenge you with constructive feedback when appropriate. Therapy may entail examining patterns in your life that block you from feeling fulfilled.
Sometimes we'll look at how relationships with family and significant others have affected you. It's possible that you feel stuck because you continue to repeat some type of pattern (emotional, relational, or behavioral) learned at an earlier point in time.
We will likely look at feelings and behavior that have created your sense of self and get a better sense of who you are today. I'd like to help you feel better and live your life more fully.
