I provide individual therapy to adults in NYC, using a blend of approaches for short-term and long-term treatments. Are you looking to process a recent life change or incident? Having social anxiety, low self-esteem, panic, down mood, relationship issues? Private sessions provide space to express thoughts and feelings, clarify needs, and examine options that you have. I help clients to explore new communication strategies, coping skills, and self-awareness, allowing for greater ease, problem-solving and personal development. My approach is collaborative, compassionate and adaptable to each individual’s objectives.
My specialties include interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT) for depression; cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for social anxiety or panic; integrative dynamic therapy that helps clients understand, and come out from under the influence of, their past; grief treatment after the death of someone close. I often work with clients in their 20’s and 30’s.
