I am dedicated to assisting clients reach their individual goals, work through life transitions, and address the difficult challenges that often happen in our lives. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist, I work with children aged 3 – 12, adolescents and adults. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and have training in Eye Movement Desensitization (EMDR). My past work experience has focused on the issues of grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, and behavioral issues.

Life is about relationships: Couples, Marriage, Families, Friends, Co-Workers. However, broken promises, lost love, abandonment, endless conflict, lack of trust, addictions, loss of intimacy, anger and avoidance all create fear, pain, rejection and loneliness. You feel disconnected and are in search of acceptance, belonging, comfort and safety. Using specialized methods of counseling, we can help you avoid misunderstandings, improve communication, heal past hurts, understand one another better and strengthen the relationships that make life important.

My mission is to provide clients with clear guidance, compassionate encouragement, and sound accountability so that they may organically evolve into their ideal self. I utilize a variety of efficacious treatment approaches in constructing a tailored journey towards balance, health, and success. I possess a high-energy, yet compassionate, therapeutic approach to promote each person's desired level of success. I especially enjoy working with other mental health and health care professionals to enable them to perform their jobs more effectively.

If you are a parent who is exhausted, worried, and confused by your child's behavior, I can help you make changes that make a difference. Using current science about how the brain works, I give you the inside story of what's happening when your child is falling apart. When you can see behind the behavior, you can more easily understand what the child needs you to do. You'll learn tools for understanding your child and tools to help improve their connection to you and to themselves. Hi. I provide therapy and support to individuals and families using a person-centered holistic approach to work through life's various challenges. With over 8 years in the helping profession, I have had the pleasure of working with individuals, couples, and families, from adolescents to middle-aged adults, who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, sexual abuse, OCD, perinatal loss, and mood and personality disorders, among other issues that cause distress.

My desire is to come alongside you to assist you in overcoming obstacles and reaching your goals. I enjoy working with children, college students, and adults. I firmly believe that change is possible and am excited to help you create lasting change in your own life.

In my 10 years of practice as a counselor, I have had the great honor to walk alongside people from all walks of life as they find healing and improve their relationship with themselves and those that they love. I practice from a person-centered approach and believe that my clients are the experts of their own lives and experiences.

Life can be hard. Unfortunately, despite our best planning efforts, life rarely goes how we want it. That can often leave us feeling discouraged, anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, frustrated and many other emotions. I am passionate about helping others get through some of the hardest and some of the best seasons of their life. I know that it can be hard and scary to give counseling a try or it seems your problems aren’t big enough to go to counseling, but I say that there is never anything too small or too big to bring into the counseling room.

I believe in helping individuals discover their own strengths and truths about themselves in order to address any issues they are experiencing. Everyone has a desire to be loved and accepted as well as a need to discover their own purpose in life. This discovery often promotes motivation and goal setting to assist with growing deeper within oneself and relationally with others. I love to see clients set goals and then work to achieve them. There is such a feeling of accomplishment for a person when they finally carry out what they have been working towards.

I am trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, IFS, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy.

We wish we had fathers or mentors to show us the way, but we have no idea how to find them.
