I believe counseling is a partnership in which we work together in developing and implementing a plan to reach the clients treatment goals. Each client is unique and different, and I adjust according to the clients needs. I work well with clients who are ready to do the work to heal and grow. The client and I are active throughout the counseling process. I have found that this process is a journey towards healing and thriving in all areas of life.

Personal conflict can cause chaos in your life, but the appropriate resolution can nurture healthy relationships and personal growth. If you are ready to dig in and do the hard work, together we can work towards the more peaceful and happy life you desire. We offer Substance use groups for adults and adolescents. We are Christian centered and use a variety of research-based therapeutic methods of counseling to find what works best for our clients. I believe therapy should be started with the end in mind, so our goal is to bring about peace and balance in a timely manner.

I truly believe that all people want to and deserve to feel good and be happy. Much of our lives are spent trying to achieve these goals yet we continue to feel disappointed and like something is missing. I work with issues such as anxiety, depression, conflict in relationships, difficulty with emotions, trauma, shame, or even a general sense of hopelessness or discontentment in life. My hope in therapy is to come alongside you and make sense of what you are feeling and/or experiencing while working toward healing and wholeness in yourself and your relationships.

I use a strengths-based approach with evidenced-based practices, such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), to help you create positive changes for a more fulfilling life.

My experience with helping individuals and families overcome difficult challenges is my passion. I believe that it easier to find and build upon one's strengths than it is to focus primarily on fixing problems. Much of my time in therapy is spent on discovering creative solutions rather than talking too long just about what is wrong. I often involve the whole family and believe that every person is unique and requires an individualized approach. One size does not fit all. I am ready to start your journey together. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2018. I have experience working with young children, adolescents, and adults. I use a person-centered approach that facilitates healing through providing empathetic support while walking beside you through your journey of hope and healing. Together we explore how your past is affecting your present. I have many years of experience working with youth in foster care and/or who have been adopted. I enjoy working with all ages and stages.

We continue to grow in staff and services. Life is full of adventures that affect every experience we encounter. We now have four License Staff, One Master's Level Counselor, One Qualified Mental Health Professionals, a Counselors in Training, a Professional Visitation Supervisor Monitor, and a Life Coach. Pursuing Peace is a non-profit that exist to help people find quality mental health treatment available to help clients deal with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, & intimacy related issues. I have worked in social work and ministry as well as tradition therapy, and all these have helped me grow and learn how to better serve my clients.
