I am passionate about supporting children and adults to heal from past hurt, whether it be from an event they might name as "trauma" or from a series of challenges. I work to support the whole person- mind, body, and spirit- and I integrate different techniques (including expressive therapy). I also invite individuals to bring spiritual parts of themselves to the work, e.g., their passions, beliefs, values and meaning-making systems. I work from a self-as-instrument model and also am interested in supporting providers and caregivers so they can be their best for the people they support.
I work with a trauma-informed lens. I often use parts work as a framework for individuals to understand themselves and those around them. I work to empower individuals to build the skills to navigate difficult situations and cope successfully by taking care of all parts of themselves. I am also EMDR trained.
I am dedicated to healing and growth and understand it can feel difficult to begin the process. I hope to help clients feel comfortable in navigating their own healing journey. At this time I unfortunately do not have availability for new clients.
