Dr. Kirsten Snyder combines her doctoral level training in clinical psychology with her training in energy medicine to provide a holistic healing experience of the mind, body and spirit for her clients. I am a Managing Director at the New England Center for Couples and Families, working primarily with couples. I love my work, and take an active, collaborative approach with my clients. I use an "attachment lens" while working, to help people find the underlying, deeper reasons that explain why they act in the ways they do in their relationships. I specialize in helping people with ADHD and related symptoms bring their mind, heart, and body into alignment--literally to get their self together and live with more freedom. Struggling with self-defeating patterns over time can lead to feeling trapped and hopeless. Repeated experiences of "not living up to potential" might feel like evidence that you will inevitably betray yourself, despite your best intentions and obvious gifts. Dr. Palumbo is a child psychologist who works with children and their families. He has been in private practice for over 35 years and works regularly with issues surrounding impulse control (ADHD, tourettes, exposive behavioral management), depression, bipolar, anxiety disorders (OCD, enuresis, encopresis), spectrum disorders (autism, PPD, Aspergers), substance abuse and behavioral concerns. Individual and family therapy are the mainstay of his practice; parents are an integral part of the therapeutic process. I became a therapist later than most and I bring a wealth of life experience to my work. A lesson I have learned is that life throws us curve balls.
