I am an experienced family therapist who has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings. I see self-pay clients and Blue Cross Blue Shield. I am often the first person to see a young child when emotional and behavioral difficulties emerge in pre-school or Kindergarten. I can help figure out what's going on diagnostically and we can develop a treatment plan together. I have successfully helped children and adults with ADHD, PTSD, Anxiety, and Mood Disorders like Depression and Bipolar Disorder.
Much of my work focuses on helping people recover from abuse and other traumatic experiences, as well as helping families adjust to changes such as divorce, foster care, and adoption. I typically utilize a combination of approaches including play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and family therapy.
I also specialize in serving transgender and gender non-conforming children, adolescents, and adults, and their families. I provide a safe place to discuss and explore gender identity concerns that you or your child are having, as well as help facilitate social and medical transition if that is the path you choose.
