Welcome! I am the owner and provider for Melissa Morehouse LICSW LLC, where I strive to provide strength based support. I have 13 years mental health experience working with children, adolescents, families as well as adults. When working with children and adolescents, I believe in supporting the whole family; providing caregiver support, psycho-education, parent and family sessions (when needed). I believe in meeting the person where they are, based on everyone's unique needs.

After 20+ years working in the mental health field, I have seen firsthand that when you put yourself and your mental health first, all other elements of your life get better: relationships, work, family, and your overall emotional and physical wellbeing. I began working in the field at 16 for an afterschool program at an outside placement school, things progressed from there. From then to now I completed a BS in Business and an MEd in Counseling & School Adjustment, I obtained an LCMHC in NH and LMHC in MA. I have worked with individuals, couples and families in many settings including schools, residential programs, detention settings, office settings and in the community.

I understand how difficult seeking help can be for many teens. With over 25 years of experience, I'm able to engage the most challenging young people, so they can get the help they need. I specialize in working with teens who are struggling across multiple domains in their lives (school, peers and family). My approach is both trauma-informed and strength based.
