I have a passion for supporting and guiding children, adolescents, adults, and families through challenging times so they are able to attain the skills and knowledge needed to live happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives. My focus includes mood disorders, anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, building social and peer relationships, behavioral interventions, anger management, family dynamics and conflict, parenting, LGBTQ issues, military lifestyle concerns, and trauma. I often use a short-term, solution focused approach that uses a mix cognitive behavioral techniques, humor, and positive psychology.
I have experience with all ages, but specialize in working with children and teens. I especially love working with LGBTQ youth and their families. I am described by my clients as energetic, engaging, and authentic, and my dogs Dinah and Arthur sometimes join me in sessions if helpful.
I am the owner of Mass Bay Counseling, a group practice with an amazing team of therapists that are passionate about supporting our clients in leading authentic and happy lives.
