I am passionate about creating a space that meets my clients’ needs of safety and acceptance. I understand that each client is unique, and I value developing a client centered, supportive therapeutic relationship. I strive to see and understand my clients’ identities and explore their strengths as well as challenges to best overcome obstacles. I work with adult individuals experiencing a variety of challenges including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive thoughts or behaviors, LGBTQIA+ exploration/transition/coming out, interpersonal relationship and family challenges, and work or school related stress.
I like to collaborate with clients to create personalized goals. No one knows you better than you! I like to partner with my clients to combine my clinical skills and their expertise on themself to achieve desired outcomes. I pull from a variety of theoretical frameworks to meet the needs of my clients.
I welcome open communication and feedback about what is working and what could be working better. I engage in ongoing self-reflection to make sure I am continuing my personal work and growth to better serve my clients and community. I believe therapy can be challenging, but also rewarding.
