A feeling of safety and active engagement are an essential foundation. I believe that feeling seen, heard, and known can open up a space to develop and effect necessary changes in your life. Deep work, exploration, and drawing connections can lead to new ways of thinking, changed feelings, and being able to exist more freely.
I bring a style that is warm, present, and flexible. I have been told that my empathy and humor are core parts of the way I work. Often people who see me are struggling with depression, relationship issues, and generally feeling stuck or dissatisfied. I also see individuals grappling with the transition to young adulthood.
I am a psychotherapist and psychoanalyst, as well as a Teaching Associate in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, where I teach and supervise at Cambridge Health Alliance. I currently see adults, adolescents, and couples in my practice.
