We will increase your capacity and develop tools to become unstuck. I use a person-centered, attachment-based, trauma-informed, and multicultural approach. I have significant experience working with those who are healing from interpersonal trauma and complex grief. I work most with young people and adults who are navigating anxiety, sexuality, relationships, and life transitions. I work with couples who hope to increase intimacy and improve communication.

I believe that humans, at their core, want the same thing: to know that they are not alone and that their voices matter. As a transgender, queer therapist, I am passionate about working with clients who are struggling with feeling silenced, processing and healing attachment wounds, and navigating difficult life transitions. I am dedicated to helping my clients feel empowered in themselves and supporting them as they discover their most authentic selves.

I am deeply passionate about helping people heal from trauma, addiction (porn addiction, sex addiction, sexual shame and trauma), financial/work disorders, infidelity, abuse/neglect, PTSD, OCD, anxiety, and depression. I believe that understanding and processing the roots of your trauma, which led to unhealthy and unwanted patterns, allows for holistic healing. I received my PhD from Tulane University and formerly held an adjunct professor position at Tulane. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. My clinical experience has been working with children and adolescents, providing individual, family, and play therapy. I also have extensive experience and specialized training in working with young children (zero to five).
