Hi, I’m Dominique, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and EMDR clinical in the state of Florida. I earned my doctorate in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2018; I have worked as an Outpatient Therapist for nearly 8+ and have also been a Certified Teacher with Miami Dade Public Schools for over 13 years. I am a Certified Family Mediator with the State of Florida. My goal as a therapist is to provide a supportive and engaging environment where we explore unresolved conflicts together and find new ways to break relationship patterns that keep you stuck.

I am skilled at treating a range of mental health issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relational issues, substance use disorders, and addiction. I believe in utilizing a holistic approach to treatment while using various evidenced based modalities including MCBT, ACT, and Gottman Method (completed Level 3).

As a qualified parenting coordinator, I help parents who are separating or divorcing navigate the world of co-parenting and time-sharing. As former special education teacher, I can also help parents who have children with special needs. I enjoy educating my clients about available resources within and outside our community. That way, clients feel empowered and informed to make the best choices for their care.
