My approach as a bilingual therapist (English/Spanish) involves psychodynamic therapeutic styles blended with attachment based and Gestalt models in order to provide a therapeutic relationship that helps you to accomplish your short and long term goals.

I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over ten years working with diverse populations across the age spectrum. My career began working with children, then eventually families, adults, and more currently, a complex Veteran population. I have a background working with children and childhood trauma, adults/families, and Veterans. I am comfortable and have experience treating most diagnoses, age groups, and populations.

We offer individual counseling to adults who want to work on depression, anxiety, personality issues, codependency and substance abuse treatment. We love to work with couples in couples counseling and marriage therapy in order to help you open lines of communicate, increase intimacy, learn to solve problems in a healthy manner and overall improve your relationship or marriage. We are trained in Gottman and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.

I have vast individual psychotherapy experience working with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, addictions, anger management, stress management, goal setting, trauma and life transitions. With being trained in Wellness, Burnout Prevention & Mindfulness Strategies, I believes that a willingness to experience psychological events (thoughts, feelings, memories) without having to avoid them or let them unduly influence behavior is to obtain true psychological acceptance.

The majority of my practice focuses on empowering clients to overcome factors surrounding depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma and interpersonal relationship concerns by incorporating simple and effective tools in their daily lives. During our first session, we will explore your therapeutic goals, challenges, and resources available to you we can utilize to cultivate growth and healing. We will work together to develop a collaborative treatment plan and book additional sessions as needed.
