I have a passion for change. I aid in helping advocate for my clients in the face of adversity. My passion, as a therapist, is assisting in transforming results through the power of healing in relationships. I am grounded in the principles of trauma-informed care. I utilize comprehensive assessments to have a clearer understanding of diagnostic complexities to implement the most effective interventions.

I am a licensed clinical therapist with over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults with a wide array of emotional, cognitive and behavioral concerns. I am currently serving the Lake County area at Counseling and Behavioral Solutions, Inc in Leesburg but have worked in outpatient agencies, inpatient settings, and within the public school system. I feel my varied experience has equipped me to meet the client where they are in their personal journey toward emotional stability and balance, while also helping them navigate and advocate for their needs in the larger community.

We work with clients that have Anxiety, bipolar, Depression and PTSD, and behavior problems, this can be done in the office or without leaving their homes. I have dedicated the past 25 yrs of my Professional Career in assisting individuals overcome various chronic/circumstantial issues impacting their lives & presenting ongoing struggles: depression, bipolar, adjustment disorders, codependency & loss/grief to more specialized treatments of high conflict marriages/divorce, eating disorders, Military service related stressors/ adjustments. I've served as a preferred provider for Specialized Evaluations for Dr. Referrals, Parent Coordinator/Custody Evaluator, SAP provider for D.O.T. & Corporate Consultant to develop & strategize the most effective & compliant Treatment programming.

We are trained in Gottman and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.

Marriage & family are simple words, but often complex environments. My own marriage, children, & now grandchildren have combined with years of counseling experience to give me both the desire & the knowledge to be helpful. I have been a new bride, a mother, and a grandma who takes the little one’s while my children travel with their spouse. I understand the challenges of marriage, and enjoy helping others find solutions to the deepest of issues. I also enjoy getting down on the floor with the little ones to use my unique skillset as a child therapy specialist to help them through things like trauma, difficulties in school and more.
