I have experience working with behavioral concerns, especially in children, working with families to implement positive changes. At Brevard Counseling, we have counselors who work with CHILDREN as young as 4 using Play Therapy in our Play Therapy Rooms, ADOLESCENTS (struggling with peer pressure, anxiety, divorce, and school issues), INDIVIDUALS (with grief, anxiety, depression, substance issues), and COUPLES/MARRIAGE utilizing the Gottman Method. We have 2 locations! Merritt Island (4 counseling rooms & 1 Play Therapy room) Rockledge (2 counseling rooms & 1 Play Therapy room). We offer many different rate plans including sliding fees if needed and some insurance plans.

My clients are as eclectic as my treatment approach. No two people are alike. As a result, treatment goals vary with each individual person. My clients are not in crisis. They are high functioning individuals (ages 4-104) that are experiencing some sort of stressor in their lives. Life is full of unpredictable events including but not limited to separation, divorce, relationship issues, narcissistic abuse, loss of any kind, career changes, family issues, depression, changes in children's behavior, parenting, single parenting, recent diagnosis of mental health/ health condition, anxiety, fear, hurt and depression.

Marriage & family are simple words, but often complex environments. My own marriage, children, & now grandchildren have combined with years of counseling experience to give me both the desire & the knowledge to be helpful. I have been a new bride, a mother, and a grandma who takes the little one’s while my children travel with their spouse. I understand the challenges of marriage, and enjoy helping others find solutions to the deepest of issues. I also enjoy getting down on the floor with the little ones to use my unique skillset as a child therapy specialist to help them through things like trauma, difficulties in school and more.
