I believe that all individuals struggling with addiction have the ability to change as it is the desire within themselves that leads them to this change. I have worked in inpatient and outpatient settings as well as medically assisted treatment (methadone, suboxone). I specialize in working with women, teens and adults. I believe that developing the therapeutic realtionship is part of the change process. I use Motivational Interviewing as my treatment modality which helps guide the therapy sessions.
I am currently working at Franklin Professional Counseling Center LLC in Franklin, CT and Aurora in Cheshire, CT. I serve individuals struggling with mental health and substance abuse needs utlizing my 25 years experience in the field to provide a safe and caring environment and to aid the individual's recovery.
