All partnerships face times of stress. Employing an emotionally-focused approach, I help you break through your cycles of conflict and stagnation. Together, we look at your patterns of interacting and the emotions underlying them. As you begin to understand these, we practice ways of changing and improving communication so that you can connect in more meaningful ways with your partner.
In addition to working with couples, I provide individual therapy to adults of all ages. I work to establish a safe and trusting environment, encouraging collaboration and partnership. We work together to identify and untangle conflicts that block you from feeling emotionally healthy and stable, and better able to manage the various challenges of living.
My training in Psychodynamic, Couples and Family therapy helps me understand conflicts within individuals and how those conflicts can impact your intimate, family, and work relationships. We work together to explore self-destructive patterns, and ways of changing them, allowing you to find greater calm and satisfaction in your relationships and your life.
