I work with heterosexual and same-sex couples on issues of communication, integrating families, sexuality, power dynamics, attachment, trust, and infidelity. I also work with individuals on grief, relationship issues, depression and anxiety, spiritual inquiry, life transitions, and vocational calling. I hold an empathetic understanding of every client's unique worldview -- and respect how each individual arrives there. Everyone is different -- our work will be tailored to what best suits you, but it will almost always incorporate attachment style -- how you bonded with caregivers -- and the behaviors and coping patterns that developed from that style. It is also likely to include mindfulness, curiosity, and a holistic perspective.
Our work together will be gentle and respectful of your pace, and will address the emotional landscape from sorrow to joy. I use relational and somatic (body-oriented) modalities depending on your needs, honoring the experiences that have shaped your life. All of who you are is welcome here.
