My goal is to provide a comfortable environment to help people "Say Everything". My special talent is helping people talk freely. I encourage humor and sometimes even fun: it can make the seemingly intolerable more easily managed. I have a genuine respect for my patients. This work is an honor. My training as a psychotherapist began as a child, listening as my parents and their friends talked about jobs; marriage, children, aging parents, etc. This has led to a lifelong fascination with human relationships and the workings of individual minds and hearts. Home visits available when necessary.
I graduated from Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York in 1973 with a B.A. in Psychology; from Florida International University in 1976 with a Bachelor in Social Work; from the University of Northern Colorado in 1979 with an M.A. in Psychology; and from Barry University in 1982 with a Masters in Social Work.
My education is broad and my work experience varied. I was blessed with talented trainers, gifted post-grad supervisors and diverse work experiences ranging from adoption, substance abuse, hospitals, the elderly and folks with the inevitable problems life presents.
