About

The journey starts NOW......Therapy is a process through which you work one-on-one or in a group setting with a trained therapist—in a safe, caring, and confidential environment—to explore your feelings, beliefs, or behaviors. We encourage you to work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of your life that you would like to change, better understand yourself and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change..... Let us BEGIN!
We partner with you to provide a holistic plan that addresses a variety of needs and issues, using cutting-edge treatment modalities based on Motivational Interviewing and a 6 stages-of-change approach. We conduct individual and group therapy, as well as psychoeducational group sessions addressing many presenting issues.
We understand that this is a challenging decision to make, but remember YOU ARE NOT ALONE! At Atlanta Treatment Center you can count on us to take that step with you!

Atlanta Treatment Center's Groups

ASAM Level I

ASAM Level I classes are designed according to the ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria for addiction treatment. Specifically, ASAM Level I classes provide individuals with a supportive and instructive environment where they are encouraged to develop deeper insights into the causes & conditions of their addictive and abusive behaviors. It is well understood in the medical and scientific communities that substance abuse is associated with more fundamental or rudimentary cognitive deficits. Some of these deeper issues may be deficits in emotional regulation, diagnosable affective disorders, or a consequence of a myriad of other socio-cultural, environmental, and/or genetic factors.
