It's the perfect time to create the life and relationships you want! Therapy doesn't have to be an anxiety producing activity. Long-lasting change takes patience and time to accomplish. However, I understand that hard work is necessary to achieve the timely results clients appreciate, so I am direct in my approach. I love helping people enjoy their lives more fully and accomplish their goals by helping them decrease their depression and anxiety symptoms and increase their self-esteem. I also enjoy helping couples work through the problems that are keeping them from having thriving relationships.
I have advanced training in trauma, including emotional trauma and it's long-lasting effects on the ability to maintain relationships. I am certified in EMDR: a trauma treatment modality. I am also a certified yoga instructor, which I use to help client calm their bodies and mind. My goal is to get to resolve the root of the problem, not just treat symptoms.
I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help. That's why I make counseling comfortable and focused on your needs, going at your pace.
