Asya Grigorieva
Psychologist, PhD
I am a warm, direct, open-minded, and multicultural licensed psychologist, who can help you to understand and work on the source of unhappiness/dissatisfaction in your life. I meet you where you are, work at a pace you're comfortable with, and focus on creating an approach that fits you and helps you to transform your life and relationships. Depending upon your goals and readiness, we can address core issues (e.g., core beliefs such as "I am not good enough") and/or manage current and daily stressors (e.g., work or dating anxiety).
I like to integrate relational, psychodynamic/psychoanalytic, somatic, mindfulness-based, visualization, and some CBT techniques to help you break unwanted patterns, such as cycles of depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and improve all types of relationships, including those with yourself, loved ones, your environment, money, work, etc.
My specialty populations include people who: have relocated; are immigrants or identify as being 'multicultural' in any way; are sensitive/intuitive, and are going through various life transitions. I work with individuals and couples, and am able to integrate spiritual and/or religious concepts into psychotherapy, if and when you want to.
