Let me use my many years of experience working with clients to help you through lifes most difficult and challenging events. I use different forms of therapy depending on the need of my client. I can help with a variety of problems such as trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues.

Feeling lost, hurt, emotionally drained and afraid, let me help. I know that asking for help is so very hard especially when at times it feels as if no one could possibly understand and you're alone in pain but I am here to help. I have been helping for almost 20 years and I am honored when I get to be a part of your life. If you allow me, I will go with you through your difficult journey to find that peace, relief and sense of purpose you so desperately seek. I am a Christian and use the same teachings and beliefs that Jesus led and talked about that taught acceptance, love, compassion, forgiveness and peace.

We all experience distressing emotions and are faced with challenging times in our lives. Sometimes additional support is needed because these experiences can be overwhelming and too much to handle on our own. Sharing your thoughts, feelings, and personal experiences can feel uncomfortable. I consider humor an essential ingredient! I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, in a variety of settings such as outpatient, inpatient, and residential, and have prior experience in CPS and adoption services.

Sometimes you secretly worry that you don't have the right tools to help them grow into stable, healthy and happy adults. You wish you could better understand their intense emotions. Whenever you try to reach them, it turns into the same old fight. It's frustrating to see them continue to act in the same way. You are ready to see the joy return to your child's eyes. The most rewarding and fulfilling times in our lives are the times when we feel respected, connected and heard. Often, we feel that our efforts fall short or we are just unable to communicate our desired intentions, either at work or in our personal or family relationships. I am licensed in both Oregon and Washington and have worked in the field of mental health for over 35 years. My experience ranges from treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and self-esteem issues to more severe and persistent mental health conditions. I have extensive experience treating personality disorders and enjoy working with anyone who is committed to change in their lives. Additionally, I have worked with families of those coping with mental health issues and can assist in providing them with support and education about mental health, as well as resources available to their family.

Life is ever changing and there are times when we need someone who is impartial and nonjudgmental to help us through. As a licensed counselor I provide that support as well as a safe environment for individuals to express themselves freely and openly without fear of being shamed, embarrassed or criticized for their thoughts and/or feelings. I see many clients with depression and anxiety and have found Cognitive therapy has many benefits. The skill of mindfulness is one that I practice daily and, after teaching the client, encourage them to use it on a daily basis. I am now a registered hypnotherapist so I can now offer hypnosis.
