I offer compassion, understanding, and therapeutic guidance through life’s challenges. Throughout life we do the best we can to try to feel better. Unfortunately, ways we have learned to cope or numb pain often lead to confusion, disappointment, and disconnection. Using Internal Family Systems Therapy I facilitate a process of you gaining insight into your thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors so you can understand yourself better and begin to release and manage inner turmoil (anxiety and depression). This process can lead to an improved sense of calm, clarity, self-compassion, and connection with others.

There are times when feelings of being overwhelmed, sad, hurt and alone can be too much. People are a sum of their life experiences, lets sort through them together. I have been in social services for over 10 years and my goal is to walk along the difficult pathway to help you reach your destination.

I believe the power to change, grow, and overcome obstacles lies within each one of us. Sometimes, for many different reasons, we need additional support to identify, and build on the strengths we have within us to accomplish what we want. I have 16 years of experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients as they accomplish their goals and overcome life stressors, depression, anxiety, grief and trauma.

We all experience distressing emotions and are faced with challenging times in our lives. Sometimes additional support is needed because these experiences can be overwhelming and too much to handle on our own. Sharing your thoughts, feelings, and personal experiences can feel uncomfortable. My experience has been around helping individuals with anxiety, depression, parenting, behavior management, trauma, and other life stressors. My specialties are older adolescents (15+), and adults.

I tailor my treatment approach to best fit the needs and desires of my clients. Some of these approaches may include: Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Client-Centered, Mindfulness practices, and Strength-based interventions. My hope is to help people recognize that life is a continual balance between stability and growth through acceptance and actualization.

Often times, life stressors within our significant relationships are what prompt us to seek additional support in the form of therapy. Similarly, when we experience emotional distress, it typically impacts important relationships and environments, including friendships, school and work. It is my goal to help individuals and families explore and solve their relational, emotional and behavioral concerns.
