Hi there, I’m Astrid. I’m a Mexican cisgender woman, therapist, former community organizer, and proud dog mom to two very snuggly pups. I’m here to offer a space where you can show up exactly as you are: tender, tangled, hilarious, exhausted, curious, messy, brilliant—whatever’s real for you. I support individuals and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I’ve had the honor of working with survivors of sex trafficking and domestic violence, offering bilingual therapy through a trauma-informed and empowerment-based lens.
My approach to therapy is grounded in care, community, and a deep belief that healing happens in spaces where we feel safe, seen, and held with compassion. I bring a radical lens to my work, as many of us are trying to thrive inside systems that were never built with our well-being in mind. I use a mix of approaches (CBT, ACT, DBT, Parts Work, mindfulness).
