However, we may sometimes be overwhelmed by presented challenges or carry a load of childhood traumatic experiences that block the access to those resources and don’t allow us to find the best solutions. At Presence Psychotherapy, LLC, together with the client, we will explore different strategies and techniques, and examine important relationships within family and social systems, that will help them see new possibilities and become the author of their own life.
One of the core values of Presence Psychotherapy, LLC, is the therapeutic presence, therefore during the session, my full attention is on the clients and their needs. In a safe and accepting space, I help people to help themselves by using the expertise of their own life combined with my formal training and clinical experience.
I am an EMDR therapist and help people to work through their trauma and painful memories. Also, I utilize different tools such as breathing, mindfulness, therapeutic writing. I speak English, Spanish and Russian and offer a culturally sensitive and accepting space for people from different ethnic, cultural, religious backgrounds and sexual orientation.
