About

Welcome! My name is Debbie, I founded Aspira Counseling to provide integrative services that require sensitivity, discretion, resourcefulness and creativity! Counseling for alcohol, drugs and addictive behaviors is a specialty and there are all kinds of different services that may be confusing to someone seeking help. Here, you can start with a simple conversation to see what your needs might be and how to best move forward. Whether you are looking for some clarification, brief intervention or intensive outpatient treatment, collaborative decision making based on your needs should make your journey easier. Please visit the website for more information.
Some clients may wish an alternative or additional approach to recovery; a closed SMART Recovery group will be offered to regular clients using a cognitive behavioral approach. This gives clients a wider range of options. A Family and Friends group based on the same approach will also be available.
Mediation is one of my passions. Experience with 12 step programs, anger management, domestic violence, parenting, co-parenting, psychiatric recovery or dual diagnosis gives a well rounded background to provide resources and guidance that often relates to what brings a client and family to seek services.
