I work with adults and teenagers experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, complex PTSD, Schizophrenia, Bi-polar, Emotional Disturbance, Reactive Attachment Disorder and addiction. Additionally, I have an extensive background history working with teenagers and adults diagnosed with Asperger's and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
My counseling approach is Person-Centered and I use Motivational Interviewing, (Trauma Focused) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, and Music Therapy. I include psycho education in my sessions to help individuals identify the root of their behavior. And I offer EMDR for those who need more support with trauma/grief/anxiety/loss.
I offer therapy on a sliding scale for those who qualify and phone sessions for those who are not mobile.

Groups
Social/Emotional Group for Teens - ASD/Aspergers
Meets Saturdays from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. Engages teenagers and encourages them to practice emotional regulation, constructive coping skills, conflict resolution, and self-awareness. Combines role-play, psycho-education, and peer sharing to create a safe environment for teenagers that isolate emotionally or feel inhibited in social settings. It is cost efficient, providing 1.5 hours of therapy for $130. This group is ever changing as teens graduate and move on. Registration opens when spaces become available - call for intake forms and more information. NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS.
