Hi, I'm Michelle! I'm a mental health counselor, who works with clients of all ages. I work with individuals with symptoms related to anxiety, depression, anger, ADHD, Autism Spectrum and more. I belive that people are the experts of their own lives. As such, I aim to build a collaborative relationship, to help people reach their goals and bring positive changes to their lives.

I practice counseling and actively work to co-create a counseling relationship in which you will feel and experience safety and understanding. I work to offer deep listening to find an understanding of the person, faithfulness and care to enrich the relationship, and a focused and consistent honoring of the client as a person. I understand that while each person has intense personal and individual experiences, each person is also deeply connected to other people and cultures.

While my training in clinical psychology focused on making the right diagnosis and finding the right treatment, I also believe that, in most cases, the most essential and supportive element of psychotherapy is the therapeutic relationship itself, the success of which can depend on intangible qualities like warmth, trust, credibility, openness, rapport, alliance, and authenticity. I believe the process of building a successful therapeutic relationship requires the science of psychotherapy to give way to the art of being human, and so my approach to this process is unique to every individual, couple, and family I work with.
