I enjoy working with clients with many different types of concerns or areas in which they would like to grow. I have been working with children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families since 2007. I tailor my treatment approach to each client and I believe that each client is an expert on themselves. I have assisted clients with many different reasons for coming into counseling, and only some of those topics are highlighted here.
I have trained extensively in the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, which is based in helping each partner to see the role that they are playing in the relationship as well as holding onto their own wants, wishes, and desires while recognizing those of their partner. I also use clinical hypnosis for topics like anxiety, confidence, grief, if desired.
I use a lot of different therapeutic modalities and focus on empowering my clients. I believe that the therapeutic alliance is a cornerstone to everything that follows.
