I have been the leading provider of socialization groups for children with ADHD, Anxiety, and Autistic Spectrum Disorder in Monmouth County for the past 20 years. Every child can learn ways to interact positively with other children. By using a combination of play therapy, dance/movement therapy, and cognitive-behavioral strategies in the groups, children learn to be successful with their peers. I offer individual counseling sessions on parenting issues and for those children that need help with selective mutism, anxiety, and specific behavior issues not applicable to the group situation.

Social Skills Groups and Counseling for Kids is a private counseling center where Sandra Singer, PhD and Claudia Weiss, LCSW provide group and individual services for children ages 4-13. As licensed therapists who developed a comprehensive school based counseling program, we bring a wealth of experience in child development, behavioral disorders and group work to the private setting. Dr. Nikki Zamkoff is a psychotherapist practicing in New York, New Jersey, and Florida using Cognitive and Dialectical Behavior therapies. In her clinical work, Nikki helps adults, young adults, and adolescents overcome an array of mental health challenges including depression, OCD, anxiety, and general life transitions. She is particularly skilled in working with clients with ADHD.

I worked in the field as a Community Health Educator and I have been a practicing psychotherapist since 2006. I have extensive experience in treating eating disorders, anxiety and depression, interpersonal strife, and OCD/OCPD.

My goal as a clinical psychologist is to foster change by helping my clients to develop insight into their thought patterns and to understand how one's thinking impacts on behavior and current emotional functioning. Through the use of cognitive behavioral strategies, and exploration of current and past relationships, I work with my clients to help them develop the necessary tools and insight to improve their overall emotional health.
