I am a psychologist with over 25 years of experience helping others to navigate life's journey. I offer a judgment-free environment to overcome life's challenges and provide a haven for self-discovery. Through this process, my clients have recognized their ability to heal and gain a greater insight into self-empowerment. I specialize in overcoming trauma, parts therapy (IFS), relationships, anxiety, depression, and more with individuals/couples in coordination with their PCP when needed. I have found that how we perceive ourselves is our reality, and, together, we can expand that perspective.

Experience with self and other harm, sexual issues, and depression/anxiety. I also help many straight and gay adults with mood, relationship, social (Aspergers/Higher Autism), and self-worth challenges.

At this time I cannot accept new clients and my waitlist is full. I enjoy working with children ages 3 to 13 and cater my approach depending on the age of the child. Some of the children I work with have been through really difficult and painful traumas, others have experienced great loss. Some kids are struggling to express themselves or with regulating their emotions, and others are struggling with behavior challenges in school or at home. Because of my work in the schools I have unique experience engaging with children with ADHD, anxiety, depression, self-harm behaviors, and other social-emotional concerns.

In order to get the most out of therapy there needs to be clear, defined goals that are built out of trust between the client and the therapist. What do you want out of therapy and why? After a period of time your goals and needs as a client can change based on the progress made throughout therapy. I believe a good therapist will, "work themselves out of a job". This means that we will work towards self-sufficiency where you don't need therapy and you are the best version of yourself, no matter how long it takes. For some it might be a few sessions, and for others it might take much longer. Therapy is based on your needs!

WE ARE NOT TAKING NEW CLIENTS. I work with children, adolescents, and adults. Depending on the reason for treatment, I see clients individually, as a family, and in groups. The focus of treatment is individualized and tailored to meet the individual and/or group need(s). Examples of issues addressed include: anger, anxiety, depression, coping, and trauma. I am an eclectic therapist and use many different approaches to meet each individual client's needs.

Need someone to listen and support you through difficult issues? I provide an Integrative approach using Trauma Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, CBT, Interpersonal Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Drama Therapy, where appropriate. I believe it is my job to provide the supportive environment, professional insight, and researched-based strategies to allow the client to grow. I want to help my clients become their best selves.

I specialize in working with young children, adolescents, and teens and helping them navigate through trauma, tough transitions, depression, anxiety, and pretty much everything that comes along with being a kid! I use play therapy to help children express their emotions and help solve problems that may be hindering their ability to flourish. I am passionate about building relationships and connecting with every client!

Chris has over 30-years of experience in the counseling field, is a LMSW, and has his MSW from Michigan State University.

I am a licensed child psychologist who provides therapy and assessment services to youth ages 3-17. I have knowledge and experience in treating anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, high-functioning ASD, and behavior problems. I also provide parent training and engage in collaboration with school professionals!
