I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems theory, while adding an understanding of neuropsychological functioning to help my clients. I am competent in adoption coaching and therapy for all stages with pre and post adoption. I am passionate in helping clients identify barriers in their functioning to help in creating growth. Helping clients grow in their coping skills and education of how life events can change our thought patterns, behavioral reactions, and and emotional responses. I am committed to the holistic approach and helping you become the version of yourself or your family. We can not change the past but grow our future.

My practice incorporates creative and play therapy, but I am flexible in my approach depending on the needs of my client. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. Through nonjudgemental listening, I create a safe place to explore issues such as self-acceptance, coping with family or personal struggles and addressing behavioral issues . Some of the skills that I help my clients develop in session are: identifying emotions, improving coping skills, building communication and strengthening relationships.

I received my PhD from Tulane University and formerly held an adjunct professor position at Tulane. My approach is an alternative to ABA, Positive Behavior Therapies and other Conversion Therapies because I values you for who you are.
