I specialize in the treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and extreme OCD. I also work with trauma and other mood disorders. I am open and honest with my clients about my own personal mental health struggles as I too have BPD and other mental health conditions. I use self-disclosure to help validate clients’ experiences and also dispel some of the mystique one may feel about me as a clinician. After completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology, Tish continued her education at Lindsey Wilson College and earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling. Tish has worked in the mental health field for 25 years and has been a licensed practitioner for 22 of those years. She has experience with individuals who are dually diagnosed and has a long history of working with individuals who have experienced traumatic events.

Counseling is weird. You hang out in an office with a stranger who looks like a cozy accountant, there's some real talk about your personal problems, then money changes hands. I've been on both sides of this, so I get it. But maybe it's okay if this sort of thing is a little different, a little weird. My whole thing is about getting you unstuck, and that only happens with a change of perspective. Thinking differently. Acting differently.
